Mickey Mouse is standing confident and proud in front of one of THE symbols of western civilization: The flag of the United States of America. But by getting a closer look, the viewer might notice that the whole piece is made from trash and garbage. The high living standards of our societies are only enabled by a huge production of waste – which we silently accept.
